Student Pastor - Chad Boling

Flame-thrower extraordinaire, stamp collector expert, or electrical specialist are all things you could call your new student pastor—but they are all unfortunately not true. I am actually a seminary student working on my Master of Divinity at Drew University with only a dim clue as to where that will lead me. As I am originally from Nebraska, I attempt to make left hand turns more often than I should here in New Jersey. My life as a Nebraskan has allowed me to be a Husker fan, camp counselor, pizza maker, ballroom dancer, philosopher, and youth director. I am happily married to my wife, Trista, who is also a seminary student. This creates a very high tolerance for theological discussion, so please do ask! Black is my favorite color, though I do not consider myself a morbid person. (And, yes, I do think black is a color) Mission trips, spiritual journeys, and traveling are all where I find joy. This has led my life to a small Native American Reservation in South Dakota to a spiritual pilgrimage to Taize, France. From working with people in poverty in Camden to hurricane-ravaged homes in the Gulf Coast. And I must say my greatest weakness is ice cream. I look forward to finding out more about you all, too.
